Mr. Ahmed Deif, with over 30 years of diverse experience within and outside Egypt, has worked in Egyptian and foreign banks as well as non-banking financial institutions. He has also founded numerous companies in various fields, including call centers, leasing, mortgage finance, investment, media channels, fintech, proptech, hospitality management and commercial vehicles and spare parts trading. He is recognized as an entrepreneur in the financial services industry, specifically in leasing, mortgage finance, factoring, securitization, SME financing and investment. His guiding mission is to build and develop business entities committed to continuous growth, driven by a culture of innovation, excellence, and professionalism, while also contributing to the development of society and economy in Egypt. Mr. Deif formed an investment alliance to acquire Orascom Development's shares in Tamweel Leasing, Tamweel Mortgage Finance and Factoring, Overseas Insurance Brokerage, and Tahssilat for Collection Services and Call Centers. He executed the acquisition and restructuring the acquired companies. He has also participated in the due diligence processes for several companies in the financial services sector. Additionally, he was involved in the sale of Dallah Al-Baraka Group's stake in Al-Tawfeek Mortgage Finance to the National Bank of Egypt and Al-Tawfeek Leasing for SMEs to Sarwa Capital Group.
He has held board memberships in various companies, including Al-Tawfeek Financial Holding, Al-Tawfeek Asset Management, Egyptian Group for Telecom Srevices Company, Acquire for Investment, Al-Tawfeek Leasing for SMEs, Mabaney Idris Real Estate Investment,
Jumeirah Real Estate Investment, the Egyptian Microfinance Company (the first Sharia-compliant microfinance company), Machines Masr and Maak for Microfinance.
Mr. Deif founded the first leasing company specializing in SME financing, also compliant with Sharia principles. He participated in establishing the first legal affairs contact center in Egypt, "Your Legal Advisor." He has been involved in numerous initiatives to prepare entrepreneurs of small and medium-sized enterprises for financing or capital investment by volunteering for assistance, training, and mentoring or preparing guides for obtaining financing from banking and financial institutions.
He holds academic qualifications from distinguished educational institutions both within and outside Egypt.
